The newest idea for a gorgeous marriage is to celebrate it away from couples home. While earlier the stunning locales were the Hawaii, Mexico and Europe; the small beaches and resorts in Kerala are gaining their rightful place in the elaborate scheme of weddings.
One such wedding was planned by and for Asha and Rene at the beautiful Poovar Island Resorts. Poovar is a small island close to the state capital of Trivandrum, an estuary connects with the sea during high tides. The island prides itself of a beautiful beach being promoted by the Kerala Tourism department.
The wedding had the groom Rene and his friends and family from Germany. It was a pleasure to watch a german speaking set of people interacting with the malayalees of Kerala. The Christian wedding had a Kerala priest blessing the couple and the much German rituals at the request of the bride Asha for the sake of all the in-law friends and family participating in their special wedding.
Asha had special request for capturing the german customs like Baumstamm sägen - sawing a tree trunk by the newly weds, throwing the bride's bouquet to single women, Bräutkleid (bride's attire) and Bräutigams Kleidung (groom's attire).
The photos and videos were highly appreciated by both the newly weds and family. A night time wedding or event coverage is a pleasure but challenging in its own way. The videos look very special and beautiful with the lightings and bokeh photos add to the charm of night light photography.
